I Need More Bullets is a browser shooter where ammo is the thing you never have enough of. The name tells you the whole idea: every shot counts, and you are always hunting for the next few rounds. That pressure turns a simple shooting game into a constant small decision about when to fire and when to hold back.
It loads right in the page, so there is nothing to install and you can be playing within a few seconds. Rounds are short, which makes it easy to fit in during a free period, and the limited ammo makes each attempt feel tense enough that you will want one more try to beat your last result.
How to play I Need More Bullets
The goal is to survive and shoot your way forward while managing a small supply of bullets. You cannot fire freely, so you have to choose targets with care and make each shot useful. When the ammo runs low, finding or earning more becomes the priority.
Start with a few slow rounds to see how fast your ammo disappears. Once you understand the pace, you can start planning a few shots ahead instead of reacting to whatever shows up on screen.
The exact rules can vary a little between the versions listed on this page, so spend your first run reading what the game shows you on screen.
Controls
Most versions use the mouse to aim and click to shoot. Movement, where the game has it, is usually on the arrow keys or WASD. Some versions are played with the mouse alone.
If nothing responds when you first load the game, click once inside the game window. Browsers often need that click before they pass keyboard and mouse input to the game.
On a Chromebook, a trackpad works for aiming, but a regular USB mouse is usually more accurate if your school allows one.
Tips to get better
Do not hold the fire button down out of habit. When bullets are limited, spraying shots is the quickest way to end a run.
Watch your ammo count as often as you watch the action. Knowing exactly how many shots remain tells you whether to push forward or play it safe.
Take the easy, clear shots first and leave the awkward ones. A missed bullet costs the same as a good one.
If a run goes badly, restart and use the next one to practise a single skill, such as aiming faster or picking better targets.
